Recently, there had been a hike in car vandals in the area of Vic Street. Due to the increase in this, the police gave an interview on how to prevent this from happening to you.
CPL Lim from the Central Police Division gave some advices on what we should do to prevent this.
Ways to prevent:
- Cars should be parked in well-lit areas
- Park your cars in areas that are in full views of public
- Park your cars with other cars
- Report any suspicious person loitering around vehicles
- Install car alarms and/or camera
If Vandalism continues , the punishment for this will be,
Vandalism - 3 years imprisonment or fine, and liable to not less than 3 strokes of the cane.
