Recently there had been a rise in the amount of vandalised car in the area.

Mr Tan ye ye, a Republic Polytechnic student had witnessed the vandalism of a car in Vic Streets' multi-storey car park on March 15 2011. He described the one that did the vandalism as a man in his thirties, around 1.7m with tanned skin wearing black shirt with jeans wearing a cap, has a dragon tattoo on his left leg. He first scratched the car rear before splashing white paint on the car's front.
